Terms of service
Last updated: 18 September 2026
These terms apply to purchases of plugin licenses from freshet.studio, operated by Kristoff Bertram, Belgium. Buying a license means you accept them.
The license
- The plugin page and the checkout page say how a license is charged, right after the price: once, or per year.
- A license sold once is a one-time purchase: it unlocks the plugin's pro features and includes twelve months of updates and support. Nothing renews automatically. After twelve months the plugin keeps working; another year of updates is a separate purchase you make only if you want to.
- A license sold per year is a subscription: it unlocks the plugin's pro features, with updates and support for as long as it runs, and it renews every year until you cancel.
- A license covers the number of production websites stated at purchase; where no number is stated, it is unlimited. Local development and staging copies of those sites don't count against the limit.
- Prices shown on this site are the total you pay: VAT is included where it applies, and your Stripe invoice states the VAT component.
- The plugin code is licensed under the GPL, as WordPress requires. What you pay for is the service around it: license keys, automatic updates, and support. You may not resell or redistribute license keys.
Renewal, cancellation, refunds
- A one-time purchase is charged once and never again — there is no subscription to cancel. When the twelve months of updates run out, buying another year is optional; if you don't, nothing is charged and your site keeps working.
- A per-year license renews on the date your key email states, charged to the card you paid with, at the price shown when you bought — unless we told you about a change before the renewal date. Each renewal comes with its own Stripe invoice, and it states the VAT component.
- Cancel any time: email email@freshet.studio from the address you paid with, and nothing further is charged. Your license runs until the end of the period you paid for; after that the pro features switch off, and the free plugin keeps working.
- If a renewal payment fails, Stripe retries the card over the following days, and your license stays active for seven days past the renewal date while it does. If no retry succeeds, the pro features switch off after those seven days; the free plugin keeps working.
- 14-day refund policy: not happy within 14 days of first purchase? Email us and you get your money back, no questions asked. The same goes for a renewal you did not want: write within 14 days of the charge. Refunded licenses are revoked.
Support & updates
- Support is provided by email at email@freshet.studio, best-effort, typically within a few business days.
- Updates are delivered through the WordPress admin while your license is active.
- Third-party platforms and feed sources can change, restrict or withdraw their APIs at any time. We work to keep plugins compatible but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation of features that depend on external services.
Liability
Plugins are provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect damages, data loss, or losses caused by third-party services.
Governing law
Belgian law applies; courts of Belgium have jurisdiction. If any clause is found invalid, the rest remains in force.
